By creating an account on naryapeep.com or using any services provided by this homeserver, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. If you do not agree, do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Nary A Peep operates a Matrix homeserver that provides encrypted messaging, voice, and video communication. The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The service is community-run and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

All participants are expected to behave respectfully. In shared spaces:

Private, encrypted conversations between consenting adults are your own business. These conduct expectations apply primarily to shared rooms and spaces.

6. Content & Privacy

Messages sent via Matrix may be end-to-end encrypted. The homeserver operator cannot read encrypted messages. However, unencrypted messages, metadata (such as who is talking to whom and when), and media uploaded to the server are accessible to the server administrator.

We do not sell, share, or monetize user data. Server logs are retained only as needed for operational purposes.

7. Federation

This homeserver participates in the Matrix federation network. Messages sent to rooms hosted on other servers, or to users on other servers, will be transmitted to and stored on those servers according to their own policies, which are outside our control.

8. Enforcement

Violations of these terms may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account deactivation at the sole discretion of the server administrator. Decisions are final.

9. Limitation of Liability

This service is provided free of charge on a best-effort basis. The operator is not liable for any data loss, service interruption, security breach, or damages of any kind arising from your use of this service. You use it at your own risk.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be announced in the homeserver's main space when practical.
